  Do we really need this many prayers in a day?

  there’s no proof that prayers have any effect whatsoever, other than perhaps giving the person who prays a false sense of having done something.

  all claims that prayers have been answered are either anecdotal, fraudulent, delusional or are the result of either pure coincidence or confirmation bias.. how many prayers do you need in a day?.

  you get up and eat breakfast...you pray for another day of life.

  You go out in field service...you pray to Jehovah to give you strength, guidance

  You eat lunch... you pray for your provision of food

  You go to the Sunday meeting...there is an opening prayer to Jehovah and the Governing Body

  You end the Watchtower Study meeting...you sing song and say a prayer

  You eat dinner...you pray to Jehovah for your food

  You go to bed...you pray to Jehovah for living one more day of life

  Dear Mr. Evans,
  

  I am guilty by association. I have read that over 13 people have been sued by your Law Firm for defamation. Your case is as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar!

  Before you send any more letters, I have instructed my kids that they hand over their penny collection. I don't think it amounts to $3000, but that's the best I can do. By breaking the glass and counting the pennies, it will be an acknowledgment that I will be dismissed from your lawsuit.

  I didn't think it would ever come down to this, but what a big relief it is. Now, I can sleep at night!

  How many of you remember the "Pioneer Shuffle " and the special "time reporting" of pioneers?

  i started pioneering in my late teens an remember how slow pioneers would walk to the doors while out in circus.

  also, they would not really talk to anybody at all.

  they would start their time as soon as they got dressed an out the door, while us regular shucks started our time at the first door we knocked at.

  I thought it was the height of hypocrisy for older JWs collecting their pensions who were obviously in the workforce telling younger gullible JWs to pursue poverty and pioneer.

  I never pioneered in my 40 years in. I was lucky to put in 8 hours per month in field service. I hated every minute of field service. Nothing but doing the dirty work of the Watchtower Society.

  My congregation had 2 Elders who owned a construction business and pioneered many months a year. They had sub-contractors who would start and finish their work. They had plenty of money and time to pioneer. Each of their wives pioneered because they didn't have to work for a living.

  All they stressed on the podium...''Try to pioneer a couple of months per year.'' Yeah, it's easy for you hound members because your not living week to week. These morons were just like the Society...pound pioneering week after week until some caved in. These Elders would take members off to the side and ask, ''Why aren't you pioneering for the summer months?''

  you can only ask one question plus a follow up.. my fave so far is would you want your daughter to marry a man who was unfaithful every few months with prostitutes.. what would you ask him?.

  Rules and Regulations: I wanted to PM you but its not available. Last few years I've been trying to distance myself from anything related to JW's .

  For some reason the private e-mails are not working. I hope you and your family are doing well. I was concerned that you didn't post for close to a year. I thought that maybe you went back to the meetings for your concern about your parents. There is nothing wrong with that, but my concern was your mental health when you are PIMO.   He believes he is Jehovah's chosen to enlighten Jehovah's Witnesses.

  If Robert King is a spokesman and a chosen one from Jehovah, maybe Jehovah would give him a better hairpiece.

  He writes with authority and has quite a following.

  Britney Spears has a large following. That doesn't make her a great singer.

  Sad that these people have a need to follow someone. Many are either xJWs or PIMO. I just call them fools.

  The video is from JW Updates. He has some videos on youtube. That is not me posting that video.

  Then about a year ago we had another vote, this was for congregations who still held the title deeds to their KH to sign them over and also to vote to leave the Charity Commission. This would make life easier for the congregation secretary as he would no longer have to submit the annual accounts and report to the CC.

  Do you find anything sinister about this? A little paperwork for the secretary to fill out and now you give the Society control?

  St George of England : What do you think is happening? Do you think they will sell off some/most congregations? Will they blame the pandemic for the selloff? Will they continue/discontinue zoom meetings?
  

  The Society use all their ''yes men'' to push all their money making schemes to benefit the Society. Most members will sleep during this scheme and donate their time and money to a never ending cycle that never benefits their members...ALL IN THE NAME OF JEHOVAH!
